There are more story legends how the name Montenegro - Crna Gora (black mountain) came from...
The first is that the sea people should have given it`s name. Ahead of them there was a land so close to the sea, but at he same time so far away cause of the chain mountains that suddenly grew up from the coast.
The other was that the enemies should have given the name cause of the dark destiny that became upon them in these mountains.
But the most likely is that the name comes from Crnojević, the last ruler of Zeta.
After the turks attack, they had to move from the straight, fertile ground to the mountains around Cetinje.
The fall of Zetas ruler and the exit of Crnojević, reminded only the memories and the name – CRNOjevića Gora
(Crno = black and Gora = mountain).
From there the abbrevi'tation comes CRNA GORA - MONTENEGRO
Because of the inexplicable contrast the people named it – The land with six continents.
It is unknown who first used this name, but it`s for sure that they were right.
Because it is very hard to find a similar country with so little space, face to face with everything that exist on this planet, according to all of its six continents.
