Old Montenegro tour

Montenegro Voyage will take you to discover the historical and cultural inheritance of Montenegro/Crna Gora.
We stop in old royal capital city of Cetinje, for the visit of King Nikola Petrović royal palace, and the monastery of St. Petar Cetinjski.
After the visit of Cetinje, we leave towards the mausoleum of Njegoš on Jezerski vrh, at the second highest peak of Lovćen mount, at the altitude of 1675m, and to not be forgotten we have 461 stairs to pass for reach the top, but this will not take our breathe away, than the magnificent panoramic view that spread over the entire country...
- Njegoš was last great ruler of Montenegro, the bishop, poet and an writer.
This large historical character, emblem of the Montenegrin pride, was the offspring of the dynasty Petrović, which has reign more than 200 years.
- We are in the National park of Lovćen, in the cliff area of Dinari alps. The surface of the park is 6220 hectare. Flora and fauna plays a big role in this park. There are ca. 1300 different-plants in the park, out of which many are relict, medicinal, aromatic and honey-bearing, and more than 15 are endemic. The reason of such a variation of life and reason for an unique form is because of the extreme heights articulation under the influence of two climate zones, the Mediterranean from the south and Continental from the north.
After the mausoleum, our next stop is Njeguši, the birth place of Njegoš.
- The combination of two climate, the Mediterranean from the south and Continental from the north, in the area of Njeguši is perfect for smoked cheese and prosciutto. We will visit the local smoke house for having the lunch of domestic products.

For lunch:
aperitif Loza off-course, appetizer: prosciutto and cheese, main course: Njegoš's steak or lamb made in the folia on the wood, at the old-fashion way.
After several burps :) after the lunch, we leave again towards Kotor,
slowly up at old royal mountain road with 28 curves which finish in the form of M as a honor to the queen Milena.
Kotor is UNESCO World Heritage Site, dubbed the Natural and Culture-Historical Region of Kotor.
We will visit the old city and many atractive places, the church of SAINT-LUCA and SAINT-NIKOLA and cathedrale of SAINT-TRIFUN
Incl.: transport, local guide, entrance fees for National park, the palate of king NIKOLA, the mausoleum of NJEGOŠ and the Lunch at the locals.
